Sauvignon Blanc is probably our greatest export wine, although Pinot noir is also being well recieved overseas. Depending on climate, the flavor can range from aggressively grassy to sweetly tropical. Are best examples are from Palliser, Discovery Point, and Walnut Block. Sauvignon blanc, when slightly chilled, pairs well with fish or cheese, particularly Goats Cheese. It is also known as one of the few wines that can pair well with sushi.
